I am Krishna Rajagopal, a senior project manager with over 10 years’ of progressive experience in managing large scale projects.

My experience includes managing offshore transition, operations centralization, platform migration , Java/Web development and infrastructure projects in Banking, Telecom and Insurance industries. I am interested in applying for a suitable senior Project manager / Transition manager / Delivery manager role in India.

Offshore Transition of Operations (under NDA) ($4 M, 6 Months): Streamline and Transition selected processes within operations department to an offshore vendor. The scope of this phase was to complete the pre-transition activities.
Retail Banking Operations Centralization (Under NDA) ($2 M, 6 Months): Implement closure of the operations center in a province and transfer all retail banking operations and infrastructure to a centralized location at another province within Canada.      

  • Conduct a project kick off to communicate the project objectives, governance structure, methodology, set expectations and build project team.
  • Ensure high risk areas are analyzed and design risk response strategies.
  • Conduct material risks assessment at organization level, engage with senior executives to design risk response strategies and execution plans.
  • Manage multiple work streams of the project including technology, communications, training & knowledge management, human resources and vendor management.
  • Negotiate with functional managers for project resources to ensure triple constraint is not impacted.
  • Drive change management work-stream including people change management, scope change requests, impact analysis and executing the response plan with work-stream leads including business and technology. Prepaid CDMA, HSPA Platform Migration ($2 M, 1 yr): Migrate all customer data and live traffic from prepaid platform to Instant Convergent Charging (ICC) prepaid platform.

  • End to end project delivery from requirements, design, development, testing and production implementation.
  • Manage iterative releases involving QA resources, SMEs and offshore developers.
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the project phases for successful delivery.
  • Manage dry runs for platform migration by diverting partial customer traffic to the new platform.
  • Facilitate and gain approval from management team during the “Go /No Go call”.
